Hello and welcome to Randy’s homepage. That’s me on the left.

I’m a  Masters International graduate student in Geology at MTU focusing on Geohydrology. I have been here since Fall ‘06 and am planning to head abroad with the Peace Corps sometime in summer 2008. My interests include applications of remote sensing and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies to the study of natural hazard mitigation, wetland hydrology and restoration, geothermal energy, and groundwater exploration. 

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree of Environmental Geography from California State University, Chico.  A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m currently enjoying the hearty winters of Upper Peninsula and some great skiing and snowboarding.  I enjoy playing sports, reading, cooking, music, and all things loving and inspirational.
