Dan’s Point is a great spot to see the lithology of alluvial fan materials inside the Copper Harbor Conglomerate. Park at the Lizzadro Preserve and climb on the rocks along the shoreline here. To the east, on private property behind the small lake side gallery, are stromatolites.
