Thank you for visiting my webpage!

I am currently a graduate student at Michigan Technological University, working on my master’s degree in Geological Engineering.  My research interests include remote sensing, GIS, groundwater, and access to clean water in developing countries. 

While pursuing my degree, my goals are to experience diverse geological problems in various settings, broaden my engineering background to include remote sensing and environmental engineering, and to develop my skills in using a scientific approach to problem solving.  I expect to earn my degree May 2008.

Outside of academics, my activities include kayaking, backpacking, camping, fishing, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, knitting, and cooking.
