Field Trip: A weekend field trip to Pictured
Rocks National Lakeshore is a required component of the course. This
trip will occur early during Fall Semester to avoid snow.
Grading Procedure: Final grades are based on performance on two midterms (100 points each), the final (100 points), laboratory assignments (200 points total - including all writing assignments), and the field trip (100 points).
