to 16:00 on 4 November 1995


Five (5) earthquakes were located during the period under review. The events were located beneath the Soufriere Hills Volcano and were mainly volcano-tectonic. Focal depths ranged from 0-7km. There were two long period events and several periods of broadband tremor.

One eruption signal was recorded at 02:47 on the 4/11/95. There was no reported ashfall from this event.

All EDM lines were measured today. The measurements at Chances Mt, Amersham, Farrells and Windy Hill continue to show no consistent trends in the lines. The Tar River line did not show any changes today.

Thick low level cloud cover prevented any visual observations of English Crater from Chances Mt. today.
