There were fourteen (14) earthquakes located during the past twenty-four hours. The events were located in the southern part of Montserrat, mainly beneath the Soufriere Hills Volcano with focal depths ranging from 0-5km. The events were mainly volcano-tectonic.

EDM measurements were made at all the sites today. The result for Tar River shows no significant change compared to the value obtained yesterday. The other baselines also showed no changes.

Visual inspection of English's Crater was made by helicopter. Steam emission was observed in the area of the July 18th vent. Otherwise there were no major changes.
