Activity at the volcano has remained at a similar level this week to the previous few months.

There were a total of 7 ash venting events last week. These were at 17:45 on the 20th March, when a plume reached 20,000 feet and ash fell as far north as Foxes Bay, at 16:00 on the 21st March, at 01:01 on the 22nd of March, at 11:00 on the 22nd of March, at 13:20 on the 24th March, when rumblings were heard in Flemming's and ash fell as far north as the Salem area from a plume 20,000 feet high, at 12:30 on the 25th March, and at 03:00 on the 26th of March.

A total of 49 rockfall signals and 13 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded over the last week.
