Volcanic activity has continued at a similar level. There were 36 rockfall signals, one hybrid, one long period and 19 volcano-tectonic earthquakes over the last 24 hours.
Measurements of the sulphur dioxide being emitted from the volcano gave an average concentration of 280 tonnes per day. This is very low compared to some of the values measured over the last 3 months.
Residents of Montserrat are advised to keep listening to ZJB Radio Montserrat for information relating to any further developments in the state of the volcano.
