The level of volcanic activity has remained low. A total of 6 rockfalls and 22 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded by the seismic network in the past 24 hours. The tremor associated with the ash venting of the last few days was much reduced in amplitude today.
Residents of Montserrat should continue to check Radio ZJB in case of further sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
