The level of volcanic activity has remained low. A total of 7 rockfalls and 13 volcano-tectonic earthquakes were recorded by the seismic network in the past 24 hours. Tremor of varying amplitude has been recorded throughout the day.
COSPEC measurements were made from the police launch. The sulphur flux was 410 tonnes per day.
Residents of Montserrat should continue to check Radio ZJB in case of further sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
