Volcanic activity has remained at a low level during the past 24 hours. 8 rockfall signals, 4 volcano-tectonic earthquakes and 1 hybrid earthquake were recorded by the seismic stations.

The results of yesterday's COSPEC measurements indicate a sulphur dioxide flux of 1000 tonnes per day. Measurements were again made today from the MV Shamrock II and a flux of 1800 tonnes per day obtained.

Ash levels were low at all stations today.

Residents should continue listening to Radio Montserrat in case there are more sudden developments in the state of the volcano.
