The level of volcanic activity over the past 24 hours has remained low.

Seismic activity was also low: between 4pm yesterday and 4pm today there were 5 volcano-tectonic earthquakes, one rockfall and one hybrid event.

Visibility has been poor throughout most of the day.

Work was completed on the seismometer installation at South Soufriere Hills today. The current status of the seismic network stands at 7 stations in the digital broadband network and 6 stations in the short period network.

GPS occupations were carried out at Harris, Whites, Tar river and Brodericks. There will also be an occupation overnight at Harris, Whites, Windy Hill and Long Ground.

Dust levels at all monitoring stations remained low today.
