The level of volcanic activity remained low last night with only a few rockfall and earthquake signals recorded. There were two regional earthquakes during the reporting period, at 20:52pm yesterday night and 3:30am this morning.

Between 16.00 yesterday and 16.00 today there were 3 hybrid earthquakes, 1 rockfall signal and 1 volcano-tectonic earthquake.

A small pyroclastic flow occurred at 16:39 today and was observed travelling down the Tar River valley by a field team at Windy Hill.

Dust levels were low at all sites today.

Residents are reminded to remain alert and listen to ZJB radio.
