Seismic activity and dust levels at all monitoring sites were low today.
Between 16:00 yesterday and 16:00 today there were 42 hybrid, 6 long-period, 6 volcano-tectonic earthquakes and 44 distinct rockfall signals. The hybrid earthquake swarm which started yesterday afternoon and continued into the evening contained 31 hybrid earthquakes and 8 volcano-tectonic earthquakes. There was a peak in rockfall activity between 10pm and midnight last night and between 12 and 2.30pm this afternoon. These peaks continue to occur every 10 to 12 hours.
No clear views were obtained of the summit of the volcano today.
