Report for the period 6 pm 7 February
to 7 am 8 February 1998


The dominant seismicity overnight has remained rockfall signals, with the activity staying at a similar level to yesterday.

There was light ash fall last night in the Woodlands area and the old ash from the last few days remains blowing about all over the island. Ash masks should be worn outdoors or in ashy conditions at all times.

Residents are reminded to remain alert and listen to ZJB radio for further information.
