During the reporting period rockfalls have been the dominating activity with a slight increase in the sizes of the events. Observation of a light ash plume drifting west this morning indicates that dome growth still appears to be continuing on the southern side. It is, however, possible for the area of growth on the dome to change quickly to other areas and pyroclastic flows can be expected to travel down ghauts on any flank of the volcano with little or no warning. Everyone is advised to listen to Radio Montserrat for any new information.
