Summary
The purpose of this document is to provide a tutorial on the use of SeaWiFS data for spatial and temporal discrimination of lake biogeochemical distributions associated with surface sediment and chlorophyll concentrations. Lakes of various spatial scales and from differing geographic regions are examined. Detailed instructions are provided for the use of SeaDAS (SeaWiFS Data Analysis System), the NASA freeware program for processing limnological, oceanographic and remotely sensed data.
