Ice Observations of Marquette Area Provided by Marlene

the ice at the rock cut extends to the horizon from that point of view, it's small, white chunks floating close together, looking very unstable. along the lakeshore between the breakwalls the ice is more transparent, the pile ups seem to have spread out and/or melted a bit both harbors, no ice and by presque ilse the water flows freely, near horizon there is a medium thick white line.
