Stratus with tower fading in cloud
This strarus cloud may indicate heavy precipitatiop if winds from the NE to S. Other winds directions bring light drizzle or an overcast sky.
Nimbostratus
Nimbostratus clouds bring either rain or snow. A long duration of precipitation is experienced if winds are NE to S. Winds from the SW W to N generally bring shorter periods of precipitation.
