Cloud Types

This page features various cloud formations and an explaination as to the type of weather the clouds bring. To use this index:

1) Take an observation of cloud formations in the sky.

2) Match the type of cloud and height of formation with the pictures below.

3) Click on type of cloud for a further description of possible approaching weather.


High Clouds - 20,000 feet and up
