West Coast States

Click on any state above and then from the resulting page, choose either
City NEXRAD for the latest radar image of the area around that city
(NEXRAD radar image ranges may not cover the entire state) or Satellite
for the latest satellite images.
Also, if you know the identifier of the location you want an observation
from, click here
for a METAR (French acronym which roughly translates as Aviation
Routine Weather Report) coded report. If you do not know the code or
would like a report other than a METAR report, click here. Also
available are AIRMETS
(AIRman's METerological invormation), Domestic
SIGMETS (SIGnificant METerological information) and Convective
SIGMETS. Several other aviation weather related topics are available
here. (Note: Any of the above links will transfer
you to a different site. To return here, you'll have to use the back button
of your browser.)
REMINDER: This page is in no way intended to replace
a full pre-flight weather briefing. A full weather briefing for your
entire flight should be obtained once you arive at the airport from an FAA
aproved source.
