This page was developed as a site for accessing current SkewT plots and also as an informational page about these diagrams. I tried to compile a lot of information on to this page, rather than give multiple links. However, some links were included because they are put together well and warrant viewing. A majority of the information was taken directly from various sites and is not original.

My interest in these diagrams is for determining the location of the boundary layer, or tropopause, which forms the top of the troposphere. This will be important to my graduate research dealing with anthropogenic pollutant impacts on ozone and ozone precursors.
