Quincy Mine
 

The Cu mines of the Keweenaw followed layers that were rich in copper.  These were originally flat-lying but were tilted along with the layers above and below.

Work underground was challenging and led to the development of the International Mine Workers union, which challenged the mining companies in the Copper Country.  The widowmaker black ale label from the KBC readdresses the issue of the one man drill, with a women’s liberation overprint.
