Geopoetry Lecture

Early Earth history is revealed by old rocks.  Earth’s oldest rocks are called Precambrian, and are older than rocks with easy to recognize fossils. During it early history things were more different, harder to imagine and harder to be sure about.  For this reason the geologist’s already active imaginations get stretched to geopoetry, which explains the title of this lecture.
