Lake Perrault
Lake Perrault:
A northern fen, set in a kettle lake.
A pristine natural setting, this site is an important nature preserve. It is a northern fen, a type of wetland marked by Sphagnum moss, orchids and carnivorous plants. The kettle lake is within glacial outwash deposits and is underlain by Copper Harbor Conglomerate.
