I would like to comment that the course was great because it was a
very good opportunity to get to know, at least by internet,so many excellent 

researchers and their recent works.  The field trip was amazing, I enjoyed it 

very much for several reasons: the places were beautiful, the people were friendly, 

John Stix is a very good teacher, but must of all I learned many things of calderas 

being there, not only reading about them in papers or books.  I think I was very lucky 

to have been able to participate and I am very grateful with the organizers.
