An overview of geothermal energy
Geothermal Energy in Pacific Latin America
Because of the region's large amount of volcanism, potential large-scale development of renewable geothermal energy technology in Latin America is very large. The region is a leader in research and development and implementation of such technology, as well as a great testament to the ability of developing nations to support renewable energy development.| Costa Rica | Nicaragua | Guatemala | El Salvador |
For further information on specific countries, I recommend checking out the International Geothermal Association's page about the Carribean and Latin America.
