In the spirit of the Sound of Music, I am currently pursuing my dream of becoming a volcanologist at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. As a graduate volcanology student, I began my research on Atitlán Volcano in Guatemala.

I am not only interested in volcanoes and other geological wonders but also in the impact they (natural disasters) have on humans and how we use these phenomenon for personal benefits (forestry, recreation). In other words, I love to hike, ski, bike, climb, backpack but I study these phenomenon in order to respect their power.
