NEWS: Using Balloons to study Volcanoes

Adam Durant and Matt Watson, now with the Univ. of Bristol in the U.K. also adjunct faculty at Michigan Tech, have been conducting some interesting research into volcanic plumes using meteorologic balloons. See the video at left from BBC. News Story: Balloons take to sky for volcanic gas study
